In practice, any type of residue from forestry, agriculture, and industry (such as sawdust, corn stalks, cotton and cane, rice husk, straw, wood chips, bamboo dust, garbage, plastics, bagasse, the barkof trees, trunks, branches or cloth) can be collected and converted into pellets on the condition that they are efficient fuels.
For example, silt and garbage have become one of the serious problems of urban pollution. However, silt and garbage can be collected and granulated together with the materials that have high calorific value and can reduce the emission of harmful substances during combustion.
Wood pellets are small cylinders of compressed sawdust, made from wood chips and dry sawdust. These cylinders are formed through a high pressure applied through a matrix without any additive. Its humidity is very low.
